Our Story
Bougainville Commercial Bank was established in 1999 with a simple but powerful mission: to provide the people and businesses of Bougainville with access to reliable, professional banking services that support their growth and prosperity.
In the years following the Bougainville Peace Agreement, BCB played a vital role in rebuilding economic confidence across the region. We were one of the first financial institutions to recommit to the community, opening branches and providing credit to businesses and families who needed it most.
Today, BCB operates 15 branches across Bougainville, serving over 50,000 customers. We remain proudly locally focused — decisions are made here, by people who understand this community and are committed to its future.
